Tapping

Emotional Freedom Technique

EFT or “tapping,” is one of my favorite tools for helping the body settle when stress, emotions, or old patterns feel like a lot. It combines gentle tapping on acupressure points mindfully and simple language that helps you acknowledge what’s actually going on instead of trying to push it away.

You don’t have to be calm before you begin, and you don’t have to know exactly what’s wrong. You start with what’s there.

Whether you’re a teacher carrying the day home with you, a parent navigating overwhelm, or simply feeling like your nervous system could use a little support, tapping can create some space between you and what feels heavy.

Sometimes that space is exactly where the shift begins.

Mindful Meditations

Meditation offers a welcoming pause to reconnect with yourself. By gently focusing your attention on the breath, a sound, or a sensation, you create a little more space for your mind and body to settle.

Even a few quiet minutes can help you feel less scattered, more grounded, and more present.

The benefits can ripple into the rest of your day. A regular meditation practice can support relaxation, emotional regulation, focus, self-awareness, and a greater sense of steadiness.

And sometimes the benefits are quieter than that.

You may notice more space between a feeling and your reaction to it. More clarity. More patience. Better sleep. A softer landing at the end of a hard day.

Meditation isn’t about emptying your mind or doing it perfectly. It’s simply a practice of returning to yourself, again and again.

Healing Breathwork Meditation

Healing Breathwork Meditation is a gentle way to reconnect with your body and create a little more space around stress, overwhelm, and whatever else you may be carrying.

Through intentional breathing, you give yourself a chance to slow down, settle, and listen inward.

It’s more than just relaxing. It’s a way of connecting your physical body with your spirit.

With each breath, you may notice a little more clarity, a little less noise, and a greater sense of steadiness and self-trust.

You don’t have to force anything or figure anything out.

Just breathe, notice, and let the body guide you.

Prayers

 For My Praying Friends

I understand prayer isn’t for everyone. For me, it’s a non-negotiable. I don’t begin my day without it, and I return to gratitude throughout the day. I consider that prayer, too.

These are the prayers I wake with every morning, sometimes before my eyes even open.

Maybe you’ll find a little peace in these words, too.
